Based in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, I balance time at home with a love of travel and learning new skills—including my latest adventure, perfecting a sourdough starter.

My Professional Journey
My career has been shaped by hands-on work in public health, prevention, and nonprofit leadership.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, communications, and community impact, building a practical understanding of how nonprofits are funded, how programs are carried out, and what it takes to sustain meaningful work over time.
I’ve worked both inside organizations and alongside nonprofit leaders, supporting efforts that range from program development and community engagement
to grant strategy, proposal development,
and post-award management. This experience has given me a clear view of how funding decisions affect daily operations, staffing, and long-term planning—and how strong systems and clear priorities can make that work more effective and manageable.
Throughout my career, I’ve supported organizations in securing millions of dollars in grant funding from federal, state, and private sources. Equally important, I’ve helped organizations put the right processes in place to manage grants responsibly, meet reporting requirements, and plan ahead with confidence.
SJR Nonprofit Solutions grew naturally out
of this work. Today, I bring together my background in public health, nonprofit leadership, and strategic communications
to support organizations navigating growth, funding transitions, and capacity challenges.
My approach is collaborative and practical, grounded in respect for the people doing
the work and a clear focus on long-term sustainability.
