My career has been shaped by hands-on work in public health, prevention, and nonprofit leadership. I've served in senior operational and executive roles inside community organizations navigating the end of major federal grant cycles — experience that gave me a direct view of how funding decisions shape staffing, programming, and long-term planning.
That perspective informs everything I do now. I've supported organizations in securing significant grant funding, and I've helped them put the right processes in place to manage awards responsibly, meet reporting requirements, and plan ahead with confidence. Strong proposals matter, but so does what happens after the award letter.
SJR Nonprofit Solutions grew out of that work. Today I bring together public health, nonprofit leadership, and strategic communications to support organizations navigating growth, funding transitions, and capacity challenges — with an approach that's collaborative, practical, and grounded in respect for the people doing the work.
